Welcome from the Headteacher

I am proud to be Headteacher and lead this Voluntary Aided Catholic Primary School in the Heart of the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

All our school community, including the staff and governors, believe that it is essential for our children to work in an atmosphere of high expectation and appropriate challenge, striving to live the aims of the school; believe, succeed and achieve in all areas of school life.

Notre Dame Catholic Primary School provides a good education. We support our pupils, their good behaviour and their enjoyment of school. We develop their spiritual, social, moral and cultural development, helping them prepare well for their future and gain a clear understanding of right and wrong.

The curriculum is broad and balanced with many creative aspects and themed topics to help motivate pupils’ learning.  Additional expertise helps extend pupils’ musical and artistic abilities.

We celebrate our diverse community, ensuring children and families feel welcomed and that children feel happy and safe learning together, tolerant and understanding of each other’s differing backgrounds. Our catholic ethos promotes Gospel values of love and forgiveness and helps ensure strong links with the parish and wider community.

The content of this website provides you with information about our school. This ranges from our vision, aims and curriculum to some of our policies and daily practice, but is only a snapshot of the whole community. Please feel free to contact the school if you would like further information.
